McManus converted a 45-yard field goal during Sunday's 20-3 loss in Buffalo.
Analysis: Thanks to a miserable offensive output, McManus' only attempt of the afternoon was a 45-yard attempt into a stiff wind, which the Temple product converted. Despite attempting just one field goal in three of his last five games, McManus still ranks ninth in the league in field-goal attempts with 23 and is sixth in the league in converted field goals of 40 or more yards with nine. Next up is a matchup against the Chargers, against which he converted field goals of 46 and 40 yards in Week 5.

Misses key kick in loss
McManus converted three of four field-goal attempts and a lone extra-point try in Sunday's 27-23 loss to the Vikings.
Analysis: McManus connected on two kicks from beyond 40 yards and made another 29-yarder, but he pushed a 43-yard attempt wide right late in the fourth quarter. If McManus made that kick, it likely would've afforded the kicker a shot at a potential game-winning field goal on the Broncos' final drive. Instead, down four points, the offense was forced to go for the touchdown, and it was unsuccessful. McManus has nailed every kick under 40 yards this year, but he's misfired on four of 12 tries from beyond.

Flawless versus Browns
McManus converted his only field-goal attempt, from 43 yards, and all three extra-point tries during Sunday's 24-19 win over the Browns.
Analysis: McManus did all he was asked during the Week 9 victory. He's made 15 of 18 field-goal attempts and 12 of 13 extra-point tries on the year. After the Broncos' bye, McManus is slated for a tough Week 10 contest against the Vikings.
