Concludes dreadful campaign
Badgley made all four of his extra points in the Week 17 win over the Chiefs. He finished the season with a 72.7 field-goal percentage across 33 attempts and also missed three of his 39 extra-point attempts.
Analysis: The third-year kicker might be on thin ice after posting the third-worst field-goal percentage among kickers who attempted 30 or more field goals this season. Missed game winners and extra points plagued Badgley throughout the season to the point where head coach Anthony Lynn repeatedly questioned his kicker's confidence in post-game pressers. What's worse, the 25-year-old's trademark big leg was nowhere to be found as Badgley connected on just two of his six attempts from 50-plus yards,…read more

Bounces back with game-winner
Badgley made all four of his field-goal attempts as well as his only extra-point try in Sunday's 19-16 win over the Broncos.
Analysis: Badgley converted from 37, 43, 25 and 37 yards on his respective field goals, with his final one clinching victory for the Chargers with just under a minute remaining. After recent miscues, Badgley will be pleased by his performance Sunday, which also netted him a season-high 13 points. He'll now aim to close the season strong in Week 17 versus the Chiefs.

Can't come up clutch
Badgley made just one of his three field-goal attempts but made both of his extra points in Thursday's 30-27 win over the Raiders.
Analysis: Both of Badgley's misses came within the final four minutes of the game with the score deadlocked at 24-24. Each attempt pushed slightly left, including a 51-yard try with just under a minute left to play. As a result of Thursday's contest, the 25-year-old has slipped below 70 percent in terms of made kicks, but with two games left to play it's hard to imagine the Chargers will make a change.

Nails game-winner
Badgley converted both of his field-goal attempts and also knocked home both extra points in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Falcons.
Analysis: For as dreadful of a season the Chargers' special teams has had, it was nice to see them reverse fortune for at least one week. For just the second time in the last six weeks, Badgley converted two field goals, including the game-winning attempt from 43 yards out and the kicker connected on all of his extra-point attempts. Whether Sunday's game-winner will boost Badgley's confidence or just simply be one bright spot in a dreary year remains to be seen, but the 25-year-old will get a chance to…read more

Scoreless in Week 13
Badgley missed both of his field-goal attempts and didn't add any extra points in Sunday's 45-0 loss to the Patriots.
Analysis: It was a disaster of a game for the third-year pro, as the Chargers put together one of the worst performances by a special teams unit in NFL history. Badgley's first missed attempt came on the Chargers' opening possession, amounting to his second missed field goal from at least 40 yards out in his last four attempts. His second miss was far more crucial, as the Patriots blocked the long attempt and returned it for a touchdown to end the half up 28-0. With just four games to go, it's hard to…read more

Misses extra point
Badgley made his lone field-goal attempt but missed his lone extra point in Sunday's 27-17 loss against the Bills.
Analysis: The missed extra-point attempt was Badgley's second of the season, but he did manage to successfully make his field-goal attempt from 27 yards out. The kicker has proved he is a reliable option from 40 yards or less but is not consistent past that.

Nails both field goals
Badgley made both of his field-goal attempts and added four extra points in Sunday's 34-28 win against the Jets.
Analysis: This week's matchup against the Jets allowed for the Chargers' offense to thrive, giving Badgley a handful of opportunities to score. While this season has been pretty back and forth for Badgley, it has been two games now since the kicker has missed a field-goal attempt. The 25-year-old has now completed 16 of his 21 field-goal attempts this season.

Zero field goals
Badgley had zero field-goal attempts and added three extra points in Sunday's 29-21 loss to the Dolphins.
Analysis: The opportunities for Badgley were very limited in this matchup. While the kicker had a less than average performance against the Raiders last week, he at least did not miss any extra points in this contest. Game script essentially relegated Badgley to the sidelines, particularly during the second half as the Chargers attempted to mount an unlikely double-digit comeback. Badgley did manage to convert every one of his extra-point attempts, boosting his total to 22 for the season.

Two field goals
Badgley made two out of his three field-goal attempts and added two extra points in Sunday's 31-26 loss to the Raiders.
Analysis: After finally bouncing back from a multiweek slump in last Sunday's loss to the Broncos, Badgley went right back to his inconsistent ways, shanking an attempt from 48 yards out in the first quarter. This was his fourth game of the season in which he missed a kick from at least 40 yards out, but he did manage to convert his 45-yard attempt during the second quarter. The 25-year-old has now completed 14 of his 19 field-goal attempts this season and added an additional 19 extra points.

Improves performance in loss
Badgley made all three of his field-goal attempts and added three extra points in Sunday's 31-30 loss against the Broncos.
Analysis: After an extremely bumpy two games, Badgley finally turned it around and made every one of his attempts Sunday. Perhaps more importantly from a fantasy perspective, Badgley converted a 52-yard field goal in the third quarter, just his second field goal of 50 yards or more in two years. It'll be interesting to see if the 25-year-old can continue to be consistent in what figures to be a high octane matchup against the Raiders next week.

Two field goals Week 7
Badgley made two of his three field-goal attempts and only made three of his four extra-point attempts in Sunday's 39-29 win against the Jaguars.
Analysis: Badgley has missed at least one field goal in every game since Week 3 and also has back to back games with a missed extra point. Even coach Anthony Lynn has commented on Badgley's recent performance, insisting that he needs to come out of his funk, and it wouldn't be surprising if another missed kick in the coming weeks could put Badgley's job in jeopardy.

Missed field goal
Badgley missed his lone field-goal attempt and made three of his four extra-points attempts in Monday's 30-27 overtime loss to the Saints.
Analysis: Badgley had a chance to win the game for the Chargers in regulation, but the 50-yard attempt clanked off the right upright. This marks his second missed field goal from 50 yards this season and fourth out of six tries in his career. The Chargers are on bye for Week 6 and return the following week to face Jacksonville.

One field goal Week 4
Badgley made one of his two field-goal attempts and added four extra points in Sunday's 38-31 loss to the Buccaneers.
Analysis: Badgley successfully converted a 53-yard field goal and connected on all four of his extra points in Tampa Bay. The third-year kicker has now only missed two field goals this season. The Chargers' offense has been unusually successful in converting scoring opportunities, thus limiting the need for Badgley.

Doesn't miss Sunday
Badgley knocked home both his field goal and extra-point attempt in Sunday's 21-16 loss to the Panthers.
Analysis: Badgley was robbed of an additional extra-point attempt when the Chargers were forced to go for a two-point conversation late in the game. The third-year kicker has missed just one attempt all season, and has missed just two attempts from inside the 40 throughout his entire career, although the Chargers' offense has struggled at times to put him within his ideal range.

Nails two field goals
Badgley made both of his field-goal attempts and added two extra points in Sunday's 23-20 overtime loss to the Chiefs.
Analysis: The Chargers' offense looked pretty impressive after rookie quarterback Justin Herbert stepped in for the injured Tyrod Taylor (ribs), which set Badgley up nicely for extra points. Badgley's only missed field goal this season came from 50 yards. After his 43-yard attempt this week was a success, the 25-year-old has yet to miss a kick from 40 yards or shorter this season. Next week's game against the Panthers should set up well for Badgley, as the Panthers have allowed a total of six field goals…read more

Knocks home multiple field goals
Badgley connected on three of his four field-goal attempts in Sunday's 16-13 win over the Bengals. He also made his lone extra-point attempt.
Analysis: The Chargers' offense continually sputtered out near the red zone allowing for Badgley to knock home a couple of chip shots throughout the game. Badgley, who's lone miss came from 50 yards out, is only 50 percent on field goals from 50 or more yards, although he's attempted just four in his three-year career. Given the lack of efficient play Sunday, the 25-year-old might find it difficult to generate a similar type of fantasy production next week against the Chiefs.

Lone kicker in camp
Badgley is the only kicker listed in the Chargers' group of specialists for this year's training camp.
Analysis: Badgley was limited to just eight games last season due to a groin injury, but he's been very good when healthy. The 25-year-old has converted 28 of 32 field-goal attempts and 46 of 47 extra-point tries across 18 regular-season games, making him a reliable commodity that doesn't require competition to push him ahead of the coming campaign.

Perfect from inside 45 yards
Badgley converted on 13 of his 16 field-goal attempts in 2019 and did not miss any of his 19 extra points.
Analysis: A groin injury ultimately cost Badgley the first eight games of the season, but the second-year kicker returned in Week 9 and proceeded to be a reliable option from 45 yards or less. All three of Badgley's misses came from 46 yards or longer, however, but considering the team's struggles to find a consistent kicker in past seasons, it's unlikely the 24-year-old will have much competition at the position in 2020.

Mundane performance
Badgley converted his lone field-goal attempt and both his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Raiders.
Analysis: Melvin Gordon's ability to capitalize in the red zone ultimately set the stage for another under-performing fantasy day from Badgley. The second-year kicker has attempted just one field goal in each of the last three games, and in four of the last six.

Hardly needed in loss
Badgley connected on his lone field-goal attempt and single extra-point attempt in the 39-10 loss Sunday to the Vikings.
Analysis: The scoreline says it all, as the Chargers fell hopelessly behind early, relegating Badgley to an afterthought. The 24-year-old has yet to miss a kick from 45 yards or shorter in 2019.

Easy day in win
Badgley made his only field-goal attempt and also converted all six of his extra-point attempts in the 45-10 win Sunday over the Jaguars.
Analysis: It was a pretty easy outing for Badgley as the Chargers' offense was able to terrorize the Jaguars all afternoon. The second-year kicker has yet to miss an attempt from 45 yards or shorter.

Misses another field goal
Badgley converted two of his three field-goal attempts and also knocked in both of his extra-point attempts in the 23-20 loss Sunday to the Broncos.
Analysis: The missed field goal came after the Chargers failed to generate more than a single yard after a critical fourth-quarter interception from middle linebacker Denzel Perryman, with Badgley's 55-yard attempt clanging off the left upright. The second-year kicker has now missed a field goal in three of his four games this season, although each attempt has come from at least 45 yards or longer.

Misses crucial field goal
Badgley connected on three of his four field-goal attempts in the 24-17 loss Monday to the Chiefs.
Analysis: Badgley's miss was a critical one, as the Chargers were playing with all the momentum in the first half, only for their multiyear kicking woes to resurface once more. The second-year kicker is now 80 percent on field-goal attempts this season, although both of his misses have come from the 40- to 49-yard range, and he hasn't even attempted a field goal from 50 or more yards.

Does little in loss
Badgley converted his lone field-goal attempt and also connected on all three extra-point attempts in the 26-24 loss Thursday to the Raiders.
Analysis: Between turnovers and conversions in the red zone, the Chargers simply didn't need to rely on their kicker to score points, ultimately utilizing Badgley for a simple 27-yard attempt late in the third quarter. The second-year kicker should be in for a better day in Week 11 when the Chargers will likely be forced to keep up with the high-scoring Chiefs offense.

Nets 14 points in first game back
Badgley (groin) made four of his five field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point attempts in the 26-11 win over the Packers on Sunday.
Analysis: The Chargers were unable to convert in the red zone despite dominating time of possession throughout the first half, Badgley immediately was forced into a heavy workload, connecting on four chip-shot field goals throughout the first three quarters before finally missing a fairly insignificant attempt with the game already well in hand. Badgley missed the first eight games of the season after re-aggravating a groin injury to begin the season, but the second-year kicker was an excellent fantasy…read more
