Shifts to season-ending IR
The Jaguars placed Lambo (hip) on season-ending injured reserve Monday.
Analysis: Lambo has already come off injured reserve once this season, so he won't be eligible to return again. The 29-year-old aggravated a gluteus medius muscle injury while attempting an onside kick in the final two minutes of Sunday's loss to the Texans. In four appearances with the Jaguars in 2020, Lambo converted all five of his field-goal tries and eight of 10 extra-point attempts. Jacksonville signed Aldrick Rosas to the practice squad Monday, and it's always possible the team will reach back out…read more

Season-ending injury feared
Lambo aggravated his gluteus medius muscle during Sunday's 27-25 loss to the Texans and is expected to miss the remainder of the 2020 campaign, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: The Jaguars expect to place Lambo on injured reserve in the near future. He previously missed five games due to a lesser version of his current injury, so while Jacksonville hasn't yet officially ruled Lambo out for the year, his chances of retaking the field could be slim. In place of Lambo, the Jaguars may look into Jonathan Brown, who started Week 6 against the Lions. Alternatively, if Brandon Wright has managed to recover from his groin injury, it's possible that the rookie out of Georgia…read more

Injures hip Sunday
Lambo suffered a left hip injury during Sunday's loss to the Broncos, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
Analysis: The 29-year-old sustained the injury on an onside-kick attempt in the final two minutes. Coach Doug Marrone couldn't provide specifics on the injury but indicated it could be a serious issue. Lambo spent a month on injured reserve with an injury to the same hip before returning in late October, and it's possible he's headed back to the shelf. The veteran made field goals from 30 and 59 yards while converting one of two extra-point attempts Sunday.

Makes lone kick Sunday
Lambo made his lone extra-point attempt in Sunday's 39-29 loss to the Chargers.
Analysis: Lambo missed the last four games with a hip injury but returned to action for Sunday's AFC showdown. The Jaguars scored four touchdowns but opted to go for two points three times for strategic reasons, leaving Lambo with an underwhelming fantasy finish. This was more of a case of bad luck than a measure of the coaching staff's faith in Lambo, and he should be a decent fantasy option when the Texans come to town after the Week 8 bye. The Texans have allowed 31 points per game but have a decent…read more

Cleared for Week 7
Lambo (hip) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Lambo's return to action was foreshadowed after the Jaguars activated him from injured reserve Thursday and then cut loose Jonathan Brown, the only other kicker on the 53-man roster. The 29-year-old had been out since Week 2 with the hip injury, but Lambo proved his health by practicing Wednesday through Friday without issue.

Back in action
The Jaguars activated Lambo (hip) to the 53-man roster from injured reserve Thursday.
Analysis: Lambo's return to the active roster comes just one day after he was officially cleared for evaluation at practice. The 29-year-old stands to resume serving as Jacksonville's starting placekicker going forward, beginning with Sunday's game against the Chargers.

Cleared to resume practicing
The Jaguars designated Lambo (hip) for return from injured reserve Wednesday.
Analysis: The transaction initiates a 21-day window in which Lambo can be evaluated in practice without counting against the 53-man roster. Depending on how the veteran looks in practices Wednesday through Friday, he could have a shot at suiting up Sunday against the Chargers. Jonathan Brown is currently the only healthy kicker on Jacksonville's roster.

Expected to return to practice
Lambo (hip) is slated to kick during Wednesday's practice so the training staff can assess his injury, Mark Long of the Associated Press reports.
Analysis: The Jaguars have trotted out five different kickers this season, but they could get some stability back if Lambo's healthy enough for Week 7. If he indeed returns to practice Wednesday, it would open up a 21-day window for the Texas A&M product to be activated from IR. The 29-year-old kicker made 33 of 34 field goals last season and connected on all three attempts before getting injured this season.

Out Thursday, bound for IR
Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone said Wednesday that Lambo (hip) has been ruled out for Thursday's contest against the Dolphins, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports. Jacksonville intends to place the kicker on injured reserve, according to John Oehser of the Jaguars' official site.
Analysis: His move to IR ensures that Lambo will miss at least three games. Lambo's health situation turned south quickly, as he avoided the injury report entirely Monday before being listed as a limited participant at Tuesday's session, and finally landing on IR a day later. According to Oehser, the Jaguars will sign Brandon Wright to step in as their new kicker on short notice. The exact nature of Lambo's injury isn't known, though Ian Rapoport of NFL Network relays that the 29-year-old could be facing…read more

Pops up on injury report
The Jaguars listed Lambo as a limited participant on Tuesday's injury report with a left hip issue, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
Analysis: Jacksonville didn't include Lambo on their initial Week 3 report, so his addition to Tuesday's report could indicate an in-practice injury. Unless Jacksonville adds another kicker to the 53-man roster in the next two days, Lambo's availability for Thursday's game against the Dolphins probably won't be in any real jeopardy. Through Jacksonville's first two contests, Lambo has gone 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts and 6-for-7 on extra-point tries.

Misses PAT
Lambo made his lone field-goal attempt and converted three of four extra-point attempts during Sunday's 33-30 loss to the Titans.
Analysis: The 29-year-old hadn't missed any kicks since Week 11 of last season, but he hit the right upright after Jacksonville's touchdown early in the fourth quarter. Lambo has been fairly active to start the season, converting all three field-goal attempts and making six of seven extra-point attempts. The Dolphins present a favorable matchup in a Week 3 Thursday night battle.

Perfect start to season
Lambo converted both his field-goal attempts and all three extra-point attempts during Sunday's win over the Colts.
Analysis: The 29-year-old knocked in kicks from 46 and 50 yards in the season opener to help the Jags grab the victory. Lambo is coming off a fantastic 2019 campaign in which he went 33-for-34 on field-goal attempts and 19-for-20 on extra-point attempts, and he picked up where he left off in the first game of the season.

Closes season with perfect day
Lambo made all three field-goal attempts and all three extra-point attempts during Sunday's 38-20 win against Indianapolis.
Analysis: The 29-year-old put the finishing touches on a fantastic season by converting two field goals from beyond 50 yards, while also adding a chip shot from 20 yards. Lambo certainly will be in the mix for All-Pro honors after going 33-for-34 on field goals and 19-for-20 on extra points this season. He signed a four-year, $15.5 million extension with the Jaguars in February and is primed for another season kicking for the team in 2020.

Nails both field goals
Lambo made both field-goal attempts and did not attempt an extra point during Sunday's 24-12 loss to the Falcons.
Analysis: Lambo converted from 27 and 40 yards, as the Jaguars once again struggled to move the ball offensively. He lost out on an extra-point chance since they attempted a two-point conversion after the touchdown. The 29-year-old continued his strong season and is 30-for-31 on field goals and 16 for 17 on extra points, but any fantasy potential is limited by Jacksonville's scuffling offense.

Perfect again Week 15
Lambo converted both field-goal attempts and all three extra-point attempts during Sunday's win over the Raiders.
Analysis: Lambo attempted multiple field goals for the first time since Week 12 and multiple extra points for the first time since Week 8 as the Jaguars ended the five-game losing streak. The 29-year-old's fantasy production has dipped during the second half of the season, but he's still been one of the more reliable kickers in the league, going 28-for-29 on field goals and 16-for-17 on extra points.

Makes both kicks
Lambo made his lone field-goal attempt and lone extra-point attempt during Sunday's 45-10 loss to the Chargers.
Analysis: It was a promising start for the Jaguars as Lambo converted a 26-yard field goal in the first quarter to take an early lead, but the Chargers completely dominated the rest of the contest. Jacksonville was unable to muster much offense despite the quarterback change to rookie Gardner Minshew, leading to another underwhelming outing for Lambo. The 29-year-old is 26-for-27 on field goals and 14-for-15 on extra points this season, but the Jags are averaging only 11.4 points over the last five…read more

Converts from 53 yards
Lambo made his lone field-goal attempt and did not attempt an extra point during Sunday's 28-11 loss to the Buccaneers.
Analysis: Lambo took advantage of his only opportunity from 53 yards Sunday as Jacksonville's offense has face planted over the last four games. The Jaguars once again attempted a two-point conversion on their lone touchdown. Lambo continues to be a reliable kicker, but his fantasy prospects have dwindled with the Jags averaging only 13.5 points in their last four contests.

Converts both kicks
Lambo made both his field-goal attempts in Sunday's 42-20 loss to the Titans.
Analysis: The Jaguars didn't score a touchdown until they were already trailing 35-3 in the second half, so they attempted two-point conversions after both of their trips to the end zone. Lambo's production was salvaged with a pair of long field goals, as he converted from 49 and 50 yards. Jacksonville has struggled to score in recent weeks, but a matchup with Tampa Bay in Week 13 provides a prime opportunity for a rebound performance.

Misses first field goal
Lambo converted his only extra-point attempt and missed a 46-yard field goal in Sunday's 33-13 loss to the Colts.
Analysis: Lambo pushed the 46-yard attempt wide right early in the fourth quarter and never received another chance as the Jaguars attempted a two-point conversion on their next touchdown. The 29-year-old made at least two field goals in each of the first eight games of the season, but in the last two contests, he's attempted only three kicks (two FGA and one PAT). Lambo is now 22-for-23 on field goals and 13-for-14 on extra points through 10 games.

Provides only points in London
Lambo made his lone field-goal attempt in Sunday's 26-3 loss to the Texans in London.
Analysis: Lambo lost an opportunity for a 49-yard field goal in the third quarter, as a high snap prevented him from getting off the kick. It was the first time this season the 28-year-old didn't attempt multiple field goals in a game, though he remains 22-for-22 through nine games. The Jaguars now head into their bye week before facing the Colts in Week 11.

Good to go versus Texans
Lambo will handle kicking duties during Sunday's tilt against the Texans, Hays Carlyon of 1010 AM WJXL reports.
Analysis: Lambo spent the week managing a groin injury, but he appears to have recovered well enough to suit up without limitations. He's set for a favorable matchup against a Houston defense that'll be forced to operate without J.J. Watt (pectoral) for the remainder of the season.
