Throws two TD passes
Carr completed 25 of 34 pass attempts for 263 yards and two touchdowns Sunday against the Titans. He also carried twice for 17 yards in the 42-21 loss.
Analysis: Carr had an excellent first half, leading his team on three touchdown drives to keep pace with Tennessee. He did so in unconventional fashion, completing touchdown passes to Rico Gafford and Foster Moreau. While he finished with a shiny 73.5 percent completion rate and avoided turning the ball over, he wasn't nearly as effective in the second half. Carr bounced back nicely after a poor showing against the Chiefs last week, and he'll look to provide a similar effort next Sunday against the…read more

Falls flat against Chiefs
Carr completed 20 of 30 passes for 222 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions in Sunday's 40-9 loss to the Chiefs.
Analysis: One of the two picks was returned for a TD by Juan Thornhill, so Carr produced as many points for the opposition as he did for his own team. After a strong start to the season, the 28-year-old QB has a 3:4 TD:INT over the last four games, failing to top 230 passing yards in three of them, and his regression has cost the Raiders a chance to claim the top spot in the AFC West. Carr will try to turn things around in Week 14 against the Titans, in a game that could also end up having playoff…read more

Pulled early in blowout loss
Carr completed 15 of 27 passes for 127 yards and an interception in Sunday's 34-3 loss to the Jets. He also rushed once for 11 yards prior to being removed in the third quarter.
Analysis: Carr was pulled late in the third quarter with his team trailing 34-3, as coach Jon Gruden didn't see any point in leaving the starting quarterback in. Carr's interception two drives earlier was returned for a touchdown. This dud stunts the momentum Carr had built up with 285-plus yards in four of the previous five games, along with a 9:2 TD:INT over those five games. There's no time to dwell on this performance, with the Raiders set to travel to Kansas City in Week 13 to face a Chiefs team…read more

Accounts for two TDs vs. Bengals
Carr completed 25 of 29 pass attempts for 292 yards, one touchdown and one interception Sunday against the Bengals. He also carried five times for one yard and a touchdown during the 17-10 win.
Analysis: Carr was quite effective as a passer, completing 86 percent of his passes while averaging an impressive 10.1 yards per attempt. He came within a yard of his season high in passing yardage, while his multi-touchdown effort was his sixth in the last eight contests. Carr has thrived in favorable matchups this season and will look to do so again next Sunday against the Jets.

Solid, mistake-free in win
Carr completed 21 of 31 passes for 218 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions in the Raiders' 26-24 win over the Chargers on Thursday. He also rushed once for four yards.
Analysis: Carr did an exemplary job managing the game, and he recorded a touchdown pass for the fourth straight contest when he connected on a nine-yard toss to Alec Ingold as the first half wound down. He then helped lead a pivotal and game-winning 10-play, 75-yard drive late in the fourth quarter that culminated in an 18-yard Josh Jacobs touchdown run. Carr has three consecutive interception-free efforts, and he'll look to keep that streak alive in a Week 11 tilt against the Bengals a week from Sunday.

Throws two TDs in win over Lions
Carr completed 20 of 31 pass attempts for 289 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 31-24 win over the Lions.
Analysis: Carr completed 65 percent of his passes while averaging a healthy 9.3 yards per attempt. He completed a pair of short touchdown passes in the fourth quarter to secure the win for his team, giving him a 7:1 TD:INT over his last three games. Carr is in the midst of his best stretch of the season heading into Thursday's home matchup with the Chargers.

Throws three TD passes
Carr completed 18 of 30 pass attempts for 285 yards and three touchdowns during Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Texans.
Analysis: Although Carr completed just 60 percent of his attempts, he averaged a healthy 9.5 yards per completion with the help of some big plays. He got his team on the board with a 65-yard touchdown pass to Hunter Renfrow in the first quarter and later added a 46-yard strike to Tyrell Williams, with an eight-yard score from Darren Waller sandwiched in between. Carr has been quite productive in two games since the bye week, totaling 578 passing yards with five touchdowns and one interception. He'll look…read more

Tosses two touchdowns
Carr completed 22 of 28 passes for 293 yards, two touchdowns and an interception during Sunday's 42-24 loss to Green Bay. He fumbled during the contest and was replaced late by Mike Glennon.
Analysis: The stat line shows a solid performance by Carr against a tough Packers defense, but the whole complexion of the game would have been different if not for a pair of bone-headed plays by the veteran quarterback. First, late in the second quarter, Carr tried to roll out near the goal line and touch the pylon with the ball for a touchdown only to lose control and fumble it out of the end zone. Later, in the fourth quarter, Carr killed a drive by underthrowing a shot to the end zone while facing…read more

Goes without touchdown in win
Carr completed 25 of 32 passes for 229 yards during Sunday's 24-21 win over Chicago. He added eight yards on three carries. He also lost a fumble during the contest.
Analysis: Carr was very efficient but leaned heavily on the run throughout Sunday's game. That said, he came up big during Oakland's game-winning drive, converting a second and long with a 12-yard drop-off to Hunter Renfrow. The Raiders have been better than most anticipated, and Carr is on pace to smash his career high with a 73.3% completion rate. From a fantasy perspective, the results haven't been as great, as he has just six touchdowns in five games and has not reached 250 passing yards since Week…read more

Clear of injury
Carr is not listed on Wednesday's injury report.
Analysis: Carr underwent precautionary X-rays after Sunday's win over the Colts, but the starting signal-caller hasn't appeared to suffer any sort of injury. All signs point to Carr suiting up unhindered Week 5 against the Bears in London.

Appears not to have serious injury
The results of Carr's (lower leg) X-rays "were good," Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Tafur acknowledged that there's been "nothing official from team" on the topic, but at first glance, Carr's X-rays appeared precautionary, and his status for Week 5's game against the Bears likely isn't in peril.

Has X-rays
Carr (lower leg) underwent X-rays following Sunday's 31-24 win over the Colts, Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Analysis: Per the report, Carr got "banged up early-ish in the game and grabbed his lower leg." That said, the QB didn't miss any snaps and wound up completing 21 of 31 passes for 189 yards and two TDs. Given that, hopefully the X-rays were simply a precaution, but until that's clarified either way, Carr's Week 5 status will be worth monitoring.

Sacked four times by Vikings
Carr completed 27 of 34 pass attempts for 242 yards with two touchdowns and one interception during Sunday's 34-14 road loss to the Vikings.
Analysis: The 28-year-old eclipsed 240 passing yards in Week 3 against Minnesota after being held under the 200-yard mark and throwing two interceptions last week against the Chiefs. What's also encouraging for Carr is the fact that he threw multiple passing touchdowns for the first time since Week 14 of last season, despite facing a Vikings secondary that sports two former All-Pros in Harrison Smith and Xavier Rhodes. Up next is a matchup against an Indianapolis defense that gave up three passing…read more

Struggles against Chiefs
Carr completed 23 of 38 passes for 198 yards and a touchdown while getting picked off twice in Sunday's 28-10 loss to the Chiefs.
Analysis: He also ran the ball twice for 18 yards. The performance was a far cry from Carr's efficient numbers against Denver in the opener and represented a reversal of expectations given the reputations of the respective secondaries he was facing. Carr will face a tough test in Week 3 when the Raiders head to Minnesota.

Efficient Week 1 outing
Carr completed 22 of 26 attempts for 259 passing yards and one touchdown, while adding two rushes for two yards during Monday's 24-16 win against Denver.
Analysis: Carr connected on his first nine passes of the night, while leading 10 and 13-play touchdown drives on two of Oakland's first three offensive possessions. What's most encouraging for fantasy purposes is the re-appearance of Carr's downfield explosiveness. The 28-year-old signal-caller averaged 10 yards per pass attempt against the Broncos defense Monday night, a feat he had not accomplished since Week 12 of the 2017 season when Oakland went up against -- guess who -- Denver. Encouraged to throw deep
Carr has the green light to go deep more often this season, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports. "The better your receivers are, the more aggressive you are," coach Jon Gruden said. "And the better your line is, the more vertical shots you can call. We think we are better on the line. We think we are better outside. With that being said, we are going to take more shots, I hope."
Analysis: There's no question about offseason acquisitions Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams providing more of a deep threat, but Gruden's analysis of the offensive line is optimistic, especially with both starting guards out at the beginning of the season. Carr specifically mentioned throwing deep to Williams, whose average depth of target (12.4) in 2018 ranked 16th among 62 wide receivers with 40 or more catches. Carr placed 31st among 33 qualified passers in aDOT (7.3) last year, with Jordy Nelson…read more

Efficient in lone series
Carr completed both of his attempts for 40 total yards and a touchdown during Thursday's 33-26 win over Arizona.
Analysis: Carr enjoyed testing his chemistry with his new targets on Thursday. First, he took a quick drop and lofted a 27-yard dime to a leaping Tyrell Williams. He followed up two plays later with a quick strike to the flat to Ryan Grant, who raced into the end zone for a 13-yard score. Carr had an up-and-down first season in Jon Gruden's attack, setting career highs in completion percentage and yards while setting a career low in touchdown percentage. Will appear Thursday
Coach Jon Gruden said Tuesday that Carr will play "a little" during Thursday's preseason contest against the Cardinals, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Analysis: Carr sat out Saturday's tilt against the Rams, so Thursday will be his first preseason action of 2019. This sixth-year quarterback will have a slew of new offensive weapons at his disposal this season, including wideouts Antonio Brown (foot) and Tyrell Williams, and rookie running back Josh Jacobs. Carr may be without his premier receiver during the preseason, according to Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area, but is expected to have Brown back by Week 1.

Not suiting up Saturday
Carr isn't expected to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Rams, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Analysis: Coach Jon Gruden will hold off on introducing his No. 1 quarterback to his sixth exhibition season. When Carr eventually takes the field, he'll have a new lead back in 2019 first-round selection Josh Jacobs. On the other side of the coin, the Antonio Brown saga may still be brewing, which could leave Carr to operate without the Raiders' biggest offseason acquisition.

Gets help in offseason
Coach Jon Gruden expects Carr to improve with more experience in the same offensive system, getting an additional boost from the offseason additions of wide receivers Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams, Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Analysis: The Raiders did make some sacrifices along the way, releasing Jordy Nelson (free agent) and allowing Jared Cook (Saints) to sign elsewhere. Brown alone would make it a net gain in terms of talent, but there is legitimate cause for concern with the depth chart at running back and tight end. The Raiders also made a couple major moves on the offensive line, trading guard Kelechi Osemele to the Jets and signing tackle Trent Brown to a four-year, $66 million contract. That's probably a wash in terms…read more

Gets support from new GM
General manager Mike Mayock said Wednesday that he views Carr as a franchise quarterback, Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Entering the second season of a five-year, $125 million contract extension, Carr seems to have support from both Mayock and coach Jon Gruden, though both bosses could change their tune if the soon-to-be 28-year-old struggles in 2019. The Raiders could have escaped Carr's contract without much pain if they'd released him shortly after the Super Bowl, but his $19.9 million base salary became guaranteed when he was still on the roster three days after the end of the season, per OverTheCap.com. Expected to keep starting job
Coach Jon Gruden suggested Carr will return as the Raiders' starting quarterback in 2019, Jerry McDonald of The San Jose Mercury News reports. "Look, you throw for 4,000 yards in the NFL with what [Carr]'s been through, it's quite a year, quite a year indeed," Gruden said Sunday. "A new system, young tackles, inside three guards are all gone, receivers are coming and going. A new feature back. He did some really good things to build upon. We need to get better around him and I've got to get better myself."
Analysis: Carr finished 2018 with career-high marks in an odd assortment of categories, including completion percentage (68.9), passing yards (4,049), yards per attempt (7.3), sacks (51) and lost fumbles (seven). It didn't add up to much value in the fantasy universe, as he accounted for a career-low 20 touchdowns in an offense that scored just 27 times on the whole. Carr seemingly did enough to buy himself another season as the starter, but it isn't out of the question that general manager Mike Mayock…read more

Ends season on sour note
Carr completed 24 of 33 pass attempts for 185 yards and two interceptions in Sunday's 35-3 loss to the Chiefs.
Analysis: Kansas City does possess a couple of talented pass rushers, but they are otherwise a defense that has been routinely exposed by opposing quarterbacks, so Carr's stat line was supremely underwhelming given the circumstances. The 27-year-old really struggled down the stretch, averaging just 205 passing yards with one touchdown and two interceptions over the previous three contests. Game manager in Monday night win
Carr completed 19 of 26 attempts for 167 yards during Monday's 27-14 win against Denver.
Analysis: With another interception-free performance against Denver on Monday night, Carr has now gone 10 consecutive games without throwing a pick. This after committing eight interceptions over Oakland's first five outings of 2018. The Broncos did, however, succeed in holding him without a touchdown for the first time in his past six outings, while simultaneously breaking his three-game streak of 260-plus yard passing performances. Throws one touchdown pass
Carr completed 21 of 38 pass attempts for 263 yards and one touchdown Sunday against the Bengals. He also lost a fumble in the 30-16 loss.
Analysis: Carr completed just 55 percent of his passes and averaged a lackluster 6.9 yards per attempt. He salvaged his day with a few big pays downfield and a one-yard touchdown pass to Lee Smith in the second quarter. Carr was coming off back-to-back games with at least 285 yards and multiple touchdowns, so it's a bit disappointing he wasn't able to keep it rolling in a favorable matchup. Impressive all-around line in win
Carr completed 25 of 34 passes for 322 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions in the Raiders' 24-21 win over the Steelers on Sunday. He also lost a yard on his one carry and lost a fumble.
Analysis: Carr did an excellent job spreading the ball around, connecting with seven different pass catchers. He also led a game-winning eight-play, 75-yard march that he capped off with a six-yard touchdown pass to Derek Carrier with 30 seconds remaining, erasing a 21-17 deficit. Comeback effort falls short
Carr completed 29 of 38 passes for 285 yards and three touchdowns during Sunday's 40-33 loss to the Chiefs. He also ran for eight yards on his lone carry.
Analysis: Carr assembled a valiant second-half comeback attempt as the Raiders surpassed the 30-point mark for just the second time all season, but Oakland ultimately fell one touchdown short as the Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce had a field day. Carr has now collected at least three scores in three of 12 contests while avoiding a single interception in seven straight games after enduring turnover issues throughout the early portion of his 2018 campaign. Held under 200 yards in loss
Carr completed 16 of 34 passes for 194 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's 34-17 loss to Baltimore. He lost a fumble that was returned for a touchdown and there was some brief concern that he had suffered a concussion during the contest, Paul Guitierrez of ESPN reports.
Analysis: Carr delivered during the Raiders' opening drive, connecting with tight end Lee Smith for a 30-yard gain on fourth and short to set up a opening Doug Martin touchdown run. It was mostly downhill from there, as the Ravens battered Carr and limited his ability to get the ball downfield. Efficient in win
Carr completed 19 of 31 attempts for 192 yards and two touchdowns during Sunday's 23-21 win against Arizona.
Analysis: In what amounts to a consolation win over the Cardinals, Carr accounted for his second multi-touchdown game over the past four weeks. Though he's still struggling to push the ball downfield (198.4 passing yards per game since Week 6), Carr has cleaned up his act of late by going five straight outings without committing an interception (eight interceptions through Oakland's first five games). Can't find end zone in loss
Carr completed 24 of 37 passing attempts for 243 yards in Sunday's 20-6 loss to the Chargers.
Analysis: The Raiders were fortunate to manage even six points as Carr had a potential pick-six bounce off a defender's hands near the Chargers end zone before Oakland's fourth-quarter field-goal. Once again, the Raiders were out of sync on offense, and the 27-year-old managed just 78 yards passing in the first half. Carr completed 16 of 22 passes for 171 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in the Raiders' 34-3 loss to the 49ers on Thursday. He also rushed three times for five yards before being pulled early in the fourth quarter.
Analysis: Carr's final line wasn't necessarily bad from a statistical standpoint, but he simply couldn't get his team into the end zone. The fifth-year pro also took six sacks and failed to eclipse 200 yards for the second time in the last three games.
