Turns in another dominant year
Donald finished the 2020 regular season with 45 tackles (27 solo), 13.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 16 games.
Analysis: The All-Pro defensive tackle came through with another banner year, with his efforts playing a major part in the Los Angeles defense allowing the fewest yards and points per game in the league. There's no reason to expect Donald's fantasy production to slip in 2021, and he should be considered one of the best options at his position again next draft season.

Cleared for Saturday
Donald (ribs) doesn't have an injury designation for Saturday's game in Green Bay, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Analysis: Once X-rays came back negative, there was never much doubt Donald would play. He said Wednesday that he doesn't have any pain, and while that might not technically be true, he'll likely aim for his usual three-down role Saturday afternoon in Green Bay. The superstar pass rusher had two sacks and three QB hits last week against Seattle, despite the rib injury limiting him to season-low 47 percent snap share.

Doesn't practice again Wednesday
Donald (ribs) did not practice Wednesday, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athleticreports.
Analysis: After being listed as a non-participant in Tuesday's practice, Donald missed out on another practice Wednesday. The All-Pro defensive lineman is a crucial component to the Rams' defense, tallying 45 tackles (27 solo) and 13.5 sacks throughout the 2020 regular season.

Listed as non-participant
Donald (ribs) was listed as a non-participant on Tuesday's practice estimate, Lindsey Thiry of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Donald suffered this injury during the wild-card win over the Seahawks. The All-Pro defensive lineman is officially considered day-to-day, and head coach Sean McVay said Sunday that he's expected to play in the NFC divisional round against the Packers, per Stu Jackson of the team's official site. Nevertheless, it's worth monitoring as the week progresses because the Rams' defense loses its identity without Donald in the fold.

Should play Saturday
Donald (ribs) is day-to-day but expected to play in the NFC divisional round against the Packers, per coach Sean McVay, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Analysis: While Donald's reps in practice could be capped this week, his coach said the rib injury Donald suffered in Saturday's win over Seattle won't affect the star defensive lineman's availability for the divisional round. Donald is the lifeblood of the stingy Rams defense, as he posted 13.5 sacks in the regular season and another two in the wild-card round.

X-rays look good
Donald's (ribs) initial X-rays came back negative for a break, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported on Sunday.
Analysis: After receiving the positive news, Donald will undergo an MRI Sunday to determine the extent of his injury. Coach Sean McCoy said he's hopeful the All-Pro defensive tackle will rejoin his teammates for the divisional round.

Encouraging injury news
The Rams are hopeful Donald (ribs) will play in the divisional round of the playoffs, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Donald was forced to exit Saturday's wild-card game against the Seahawks after injuring his ribs. While the extent of his injury is unclear, the star defensive tackle is hoping to recover ahead of the Rams' matchup next weekend against a yet-to-be determined opponent.

Unlikely to return Saturday
Donald was forced out of Saturday's wild-card game against the Seahawks with a rib injury, Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Donald is considered doubtful to return after leaving in the third quarter. Prior to his exit, Donald was dominant as usual, putting up two sacks and three quarterback hits. He hasn't missed a game since the 2017 season. The Rams should provide a more detailed update on Donald's injury following Saturday's game. The perennial All Pro posted 45 tackles, 13.5 sacks and four forced fumbles during the regular season.

Reaches 10 sacks
Donald recorded five tackles (four solo), including one sack and an additional tackle for loss, and one defensed one pass Sunday against the 49ers.
Analysis: Donald brought down Nick Mullens for his league-leading 10th sack of the 2020 season, but the Rams would fall 23-20. Despite an unfriendly outcome for his team, Donald was able to snap a two-game tackle-less streak prior with his performance. Through 11 contests, he's tallied 31 tackles (19 solo), four forced fumbles and one fumble recovery to go with 10 sacks.

Sacks Tua in debut
Donald recorded four tackles (three solo), two tackles for loss and a sack in Sunday's 28-17 loss to the Dolphins.
Analysis: The Rams controlled time of possession, as Miami benefited from a defensive touchdown and a special teams score. Still, Donald found time to welcome rookie Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to the NFL with a sack in Tua's first start. That sack was Donald's ninth of the season, putting him on an 18-sack pace.

Dominates Washington
Donald recorded four solo tackles, four sacks and forced a fumble during Sunday's 30-10 win over Washington. He was also credited with three tackles for a loss and three quarterback hits.
Analysis: The All-Pro is now up to 17 tackles (10 solo) and 7.5 sacks for the campaign after overpowering Washington's offensive line Sunday. Expect a couple modest showings from Donald over the course of the season because opposing teams game plan against him every week, but he remains one of the elite options at his position. Sunday's dominant showing served as another reminder of his fantasy upside.

Disruptive in loss
Donald recorded six tackles (five solo), two sacks, three quarterback hits and forced a fumble he then recovered during Sunday's 35-32 loss to Buffalo.
Analysis: After being held in check by Philadelphia last week, Donald had his best game of the short season Sunday, as the Bills struggled to contain the five-time All Pro. Even with teams scheming to limit Donald's impact, he's one of the safest fantasy bets at his position, and Sunday's huge showing reaffirmed his upside.

Turns in another dominant season
Donald finished the 2019 campaign with 48 tackles (29 solo) and 12.5 sacks.
Analysis: Repeating his 20.5 sacks from the 2018 campaign was unlikely, so while Donald did drop significantly to just 12.5 this season, that mark still ranked seventh in the NFL. Additionally, the attention opposing offenses paid to slowing down Donald allowed teammate Dante Fowler Jr. to record 11.5 sacks of his own. Duplicating his 2019 numbers would line Donald up for another excellent fantasy season, but it's not out of the question to expect him to end up somewhere in the middle of his production…read more

Notches 1.5 sacks in loss
Donald logged three tackles (one solo) and 1.5 sacks in Saturday's 34-31 loss to the 49ers.
Analysis: Donald has exactly 1.5 sacks in three of his past four games and now sits at 12.5 on the year. The number is the second-highest total of his career, and he'll attempt to add to it Week 17 against Arizona.

Held without sack in loss
Donald recorded three tackles (one solo) in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys.
Analysis: Donald had gone without a sack just once over his last eight games. He'll try to get to the quarterback next in Week 16 against the 49ers, against whom he produced two sacks in Week 6.

Racking up sacks
Donald accumulated two tackles (one solo) and 1.5 sacks in Sunday's 28-12 win over Seattle.
Analysis: Donald has been absolutely dominant in his last eight games, racking up 10 sacks in that span. He moved his season totals to 40 tackles (26 solo) and two fumble recoveries through 13 games. The 28-year-old will face a tough matchup for Week 15 against a strong Dallas offensive line.

Brings down Murray
Donald logged two tackles (one solo) and 1.5 sacks during Sunday's 34-7 win over the Cardinals.
Analysis: Donald's strong Week 13 performance brings his sack total to 9.5 on the season. In the last four contests since returning from Los Angeles' bye, he's notched 4.5 sacks. The All-Pro game breaker will look to keep his momentum up for Week 14's divisional tilt against the Seahawks.

Collects two more sacks
Donald racked up four tackles, two sacks and one pass breakup during Sunday's 17-7 victory over the Bears.
Analysis: After a slow start to the season in which Donald produced just one sack in five games, the All-Pro game breaker has now racked up seven sacks in his last five outings. With the upside to approach double-digit tackles in a game, Donald has one of the highest weekly ceilings of any IDP player in the game.
